New Lumyx Essentials Course at Hexordia

Hi everyone! Following our recent partnership with Lumyx helping them bring their geolocation and investigation presentation tool to the community, we decided to take things further.

We’re excited to announce the launch of our Lumyx Essentials Course - available now for FREE to anyone interested in learning how to effectively utilize Lumyx.

What is included in the course?

Lumyx is a browser-based platform designed specifically for presentation and visualization of complex case and location data. Throughout our course, you’ll learn how to:

  • Upload and process data: Learn how to leverage Lumyx’s support for multiple types of data such as vehicle extractions, mobile extractions, CDRs, and more. You will be given sample data and go through the ingest process.

  • Add events and build your narrative. With multiple options for presentation customization and structuring, we’ll walk you through customizing your presentation, from creating individual events that highlight key moments in your case to pacing playback and digital exhibits for your specific audience. This will walkthrough development of the “crime line” in concert with the details and map panes. You will also add other event elements such as surveillance videos, photos and more.

  • Present like a pro: After your case has been built, we’ll touch on some key features, tips and tricks on how to deliver a seamless presentation to stakeholders in or out of the courtroom..

Our course will currently take only around 25 minutes to complete, making it perfect for a quick coffee-break learning experience or to knock out between investigative tasks. After completing the content and earning 70% or higher on all of the knowledge checks, you will receive a Certificate of Completion for the course.

A Living Curriculum

Lumyx is run by a passionate team that takes growing and community feedback seriously; they are constantly improving and adding new features to make their tool even better. As they roll out new features and updates to their tool, Hexordia will update our course to ensure that you’re always up to speed. So, make sure to keep an eye out for updates!

We look forward to seeing you there!
